  Install the GPM

  FAQ | more ...

The GPM is an open source, free interface that uses Tandem to model proteins. In order to install the interface and the necessary executable, you should follow these steps. Having someone around who knows how web sites work is a definite advantage for this install procedure.

Because of the divergence of operating systems (particular Linux-based OSs) that has happened since 2005, it has become impractical for us to produce specific installers or instructions for any particular system, other than MS Windows.

  1. If you wish to install GPM on Windows, download either the 32-bit or 64-bit installer from ftp.thegpm.org.
  2. For all other operating systems, you will have to create a version of this interface using the scripts and additional files located at ftp://ftp.thegpm.org/repos/thegpm/.
